  • We ask that you leave your bins at the base of your driveway or on your front porch. We do not allow collections in backyards or on back porches for the safety of our drivers, and it is preferred that your bin(s) are visible from the street to ensure our drivers never miss them.

  • Please email us to inquire about an additional service. Fees may be added.

  • No problem! Let us know, and we will donate your soil to our local farmers, community gardens, and local nonprofits through our Give Back Program.

  • Endless amount of uses! Here are just a few: Grow your own vegetable garden; utilize it across your lawn and landscapes to increase soil fertility; or incorporate it into your flowerbeds, gardens, and potted plants!

“I’ve been a subscriber since Riley himself was driving the truck everywhere to pick up his small list of clients. It’s been awesome to see this company grow and give back to the community by both selling and donating various types of compost back to the community. This support has diverted an incredible amount of waste away from our overburdened landfill that’s only getting more use as the population of the greater Wilmington and surrounding towns continue to balloon.”

“For Terra Vita Farm, the act of growing food is, more importantly, the act of growing soil and nurturing life within. Sweet dark humus is our goal, and the beautifully crafted compost we get from Wilmington Compost Company helps provide our soils with the added boost of nutrients and life! It’s also important for us to source quality inputs as locally as possible, which makes Terra Vita and WCC a great partnership. Ethical products from ethical people, throw in a closed-loop system (Wilmington food waste growing Wilmington food), and it’s simply a no brainer.”

“We’ve been grateful for Wilmington Compost Company providing us with a weekly 5-pound bucket to compost our food and paper scraps for at least 2 years now! We love how convenient their pickup and drop-off system is. They drop off an empty/clean bucket by my front door and haul off my often stuffed to the rim and heavy bucket. I love that even in a condo, I can be part of the full cycle of life! Thank you for making this possible!”
